Who we are

“Kapamilya” means family. A community built on love, support, and togetherness. It represents a space where individuals are valued and guided every step of the way. At its core, Kapamilya is about connection, trust, and creating an environment where people feel empowered to grow and improve their quality of life.

Kapamilya Physical Therapy & Performance is a movement-based practice dedicated to guiding individuals from the first stages of rehab to performance. Through personalized, one-on-one care, we help people of all walks of life restore movement, build strength, and elevate their physical potential. Our approach goes beyond recovery, we focus on longevity and resilience.

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love with confidence. My approach is shaped not only by my clinical training, but by my own experiences as an athlete, coach, and my cultural background.

I grew up in Los Angeles but born and raised in the Philippines, where the values of family, resilience, and community have always been central to who I am. These values are what inspired the roots of Kapamilya, creating a space where people feel supported, connected, and given hope throughout their journey.

Before becoming a physical therapist, I worked as a strength and conditioning coach, building a strong foundation in performance, movement, and training. I was also a soccer player and continue to train as an Olympic weightlifter. These experiences allow me to understand movement from multiple perspectives—whether you're navigating an injury, returning to sport, or striving for higher levels of performance.

Beyond rehabilitation, my goal is to bring people together-To build a community where individuals feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow. I believe that true health goes beyond being pain-free; it’s about improving your healthspan, building resilience, and creating a lifestyle that allows you to move well and live fully for years to come.

Outside of the clinic, I have a deep love for travel and music both of which continue to shape my creativity, energy, and connection with others. Whether it’s movement, music, or community, I believe in creating environments that inspire people to show up fully as themselves.
